We are a studio of nine. We design houses, housing, libraries and places to work, and we draw every one of them down to the door handle before anyone pours concrete.

A-02

Four stages, no surprises.

Every project follows the same line. You sign off each stage before the next one starts.

01 · Brief

Listen, then measure.

We walk the site with you, twice, at different times of day. You get a written brief and a budget you can hold us to.

2 to 3 weeks

02 · Sketch

Three options, in card.

Physical models you can pick up and turn round. Most clients choose with their hands before their eyes.

4 to 6 weeks

03 · Drawings

Everything on paper.

A full set for approvals and for the builder, with every junction drawn at 1:5. Changes are cheap here and costly later.

3 to 5 months

04 · Site

On site every week.

One architect stays with the build from the first trench to the last coat. You get a one-page note after each visit.

Arjun started the practice in 2014 with one house for a friend and a borrowed drawing board. The board is still here.

We keep the studio small on purpose, so the person who draws your staircase is also the one who checks it on site.
