Our kitchen

Three generations at the same kadhai

Phool Chand Ji started in 1952 with a cart of rasgulla outside Kote Gate. His son opened the shop in 1971, and today his grandson Manoj and great-granddaughter Ritika run it with eighteen halwais who start work at 4 am.

“Milk comes in at four, jalebi goes out at seven. That has not changed.”
Mawa is made here every morning from milk bought that day.
Ghee sweets are made in pure desi ghee. Bhujia is fried in groundnut oil, and we say so.
The silver leaf we use is made without any animal product.
